When you start thinking about what kind of covers do I need for my patio furniture, you have to decide if you want a separate cover for each piece of furniture or do you want one cover that will cover everything.

If you are going to use one patio furniture cover to cover the whole bunch of furnitureon your patio, you need to make sure the cover is large enough. If you have an umbrella over your table, you want the cover to be large enough that you can lay the umbrella down and still cover everything. Now if your table is small, this may not be practical and you may have to store your umbrella elsewhere.

You should make sure it is good quality material and won’t rip apart at the first strong wind. If you live where you get snow in the winter or much rain, it should have a stand or pole to lift the center so the water can run off and not puddle on the cover.

It must have good tie down points and plenty of tie down cord especially in windy areas. It should have a good sturdy storage case to keep it in when it is not being used and you should always keep it in its case to protected it.

Now on the other hand if you decide to buy separate patio furniture covers for each piece of your patio furniture, be sure you get the right size for each. There are many different sizes and shapes and nothing is more frustrating than trying to fit a square chair in to a round cover.

They should be good quality material, easy to clean, some kind of draw string or other way of making sure they don’t blow off in a strong wind. They too, should some kind of storage bag or case to keep them in for protection when they are not being used.

If possible read the reviews of other people who have bought this same item and see what their reaction was to their purchase. If someone takes the time and trouble to go to the site where they made their purchase to give a review then you can feel pretty sure that person has a strong feeling about that product. It may be good or it may be bad, but either way you need know. If you find to many bad reviews, look other places for another brand or better customer service.
